Reference

This section is meant to be consulted, not read. Explanations and discussions have come in the preceding sections; here, details are provided for convenient access.

First, there is a chapter on how to write XCMDs and UCMDs. This supplements Chapter 23, Extending the Language.

Then there is a chapter on UserTalk operators, and another on UserTalk punctuation. These supplement Part II, UserTalk Basics.

Then, all basic UserTalk verbs discussed throughout the course of the book are listed, in alphabetical order, with details describing what they do. For further explanations and techniques of usage, the earlier parts of the book should be consulted.

Finally, some rarely used verbs related to Apple events, mentioned in Chapter 32, Driving Other Applications, are listed alphabetically in Chapter 47, Apple Event Suites.
